Freeway the Dog needs a home

Freeway was an owner surrender to animal control. His family said they didn't have time for him anymore.   On the paperwork from animal control, the staff indicated fleas were all over him. He has a few bald spots and scabs where the fleas got the best of him. He no longer has fleas and we know his hair will grow back beautifully. 



When his foster parent picked him up and took him home to her house, Freeway walked around with his head hanging low. He didn't want to eat or play. He slept most of the time. Freeway was depressed.  A few days later, with a little bit of chicken, Freeway started eating. On the fourth day, Freeway initiated play with another dog and started carrying around toys. Since then, he has been a big toy guy. He loves toys and will bring one to give the humans once in a while. With some TLC, Freeway will be back to being a happy boy.
